Our Advisory Committee plays a central role in shaping the RSMD Aesthetics Training curriculum.
Drawing from diverse clinical backgrounds, members contribute to the development of a structured training pathway grounded in patient safety, real-world application, and clinical relevance.
Through ongoing collaboration, feedback, and skills-based evaluation, the curriculum is continuously refined to reflect the evolving demands of aesthetic medicine.
Rebecca Small, MD, FAAFP
Founder
Physician, educator, and Clinical Professor at UCSF, Dr. Small developed the RSMD training methodology, integrating clinical practice with academic instruction to support structured, anatomy-based learning in aesthetic medicine.
Jade Ryan, MA Ed., SHRM-CP
Jade brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare education, staff training, and program development. Her work focuses on designing practical, learner-centered training models that support real-world application and engagement across clinical settings.
Johanna Lackner, MSW, MPH
Johanna specializes in continuing medical education and instructional design for healthcare professionals. Her work emphasizes patient safety, evidence-based education, and the development of programs that meet rigorous accreditation standards.
