Yes. Hands-on precepting with Dr. Small provides a highly effective, focused learning experience. Providers receive real-time guidance, anatomical reinforcement, and practical technique refinement that directly translates to safer, more precise aesthetic outcomes.

If you need to adjust your session topic or format, we require 72 hours’ notice.
Please note that all precepting and mentorship sessions are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your session to another eligible provider. -

No. RSMD welcomes participants at all experience levels. Our online courses are open to all learners and provide foundational instruction, anatomy essentials, and guided clinical principles suitable for beginners and experienced providers alike.
Please note: Hands-on training and in-person precepting require an active medical license, as these sessions involve direct clinical instruction with patients. -
Session length varies depending on the precepting format you choose (small-group, 1:1, or focused advanced training). Contact the RSMD team to determine the best session structure and timing based on your objectives and availability.

Precepting sessions can include botulinum toxin injection techniques, facial rejuvenation procedures, anatomy review, patient assessment, safety protocols, dosing strategy, and Dr. Small’s approach to natural, balanced aesthetic outcomes. Sessions are tailored to your skill level and clinical goals.

All in-person precepting and hands-on training sessions are held at Dr. Rebecca Small’s clinical practice in Capitola, California.

You may request to bring a model for select precepting formats. Your model must complete the RSMD model intake form, and our coordinator will review their submission to determine whether they are an appropriate fit for the session.

Yes. Upon completion, providers receive an RSMD Precepting Certificate acknowledging hands-on injectable training with Dr. Rebecca Small.

Sessions are limited and book out quickly. We recommend scheduling several weeks in advance to secure your preferred date, especially for 1:1 hands-on training.
