RSMD Methodology
We teach injectors to think anatomically and procedurally, using a stepwise framework to deconstruct movement, reconstruct muscular relationships, and skillfully contour with combination treatments. This method is designed to produce refined, natural-looking results while upholding the highest standards of safety and patient care.
Deconstruct: Target Individual Muscles
Precisely target muscles with botulinum toxin by learning to analyze and visually deconstruct facial movements into component muscles.Reconstruct: Treat Multiple Muscles
Treat multiple muscles with botulinum toxin by reconstructing facial anatomy through functional relationships to enhance symmetry and balance.Contour and Lift: Combine Treatments
Restore facial contours with the RSMD Liquid Lift-a combination treatment using botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. Learn expert techniques for safely layering fillers in different anatomic planes to achieve subtle, natural-looking results.

The RSMD Difference
Originator of the Safety Zones
First introduced in Dr. Small’s A Practical Guide to Botulinum Toxins (2012), the Safety Zone concept has since become a widely adopted teaching tool for reducing complications in aesthetic medicine. RSMD training integrates this anatomical precision into every injection protocol, so you learn where, and why, to treat.
